Terrence,

We are very sorry to hear about your dining experience with us. This is certainly not how we like our customers to leave. Please accept my apology for your meal. We would love to have you and your wife come back in and see us. Please ask to see our head Chef John and he will take care of your meal for you and make sure that everything is perfect. Again we are very sorry and we want to make sure you are happy.

My wife and I were in tonight [3/20/15] for a quiet and great dinner, as your restaurant is our go to place for such an evening. Unlike any other instance, I didn't care for the bourbon steak dish as it had way too much parsley and was severely underseasoned. The hostess kindly apologized and allowed me to order another dish. I went with the nghtly special. a cacciatore. It was unlike any one I'd ever eaten. the meats were extremely dry and tasted more like a mexican dish opposed to an italian one from its seasoning. After 2 bites I couldn't eat anymore and was quite frustrated. The hostess asked was everything ok and I told her of my issue with the new dish. By this time I simply wanted to pay the check and leave. To add to my disappointment I noticed that I was still being charged for the meal. As I was about to say something about it, I decided not to bc I figured if that was the way I was gong to be treated then I may not want to be a patron anymore. Sad part is, this was the first time ever having any issues with food in the 2 years of dining there.

Mrs. Betts,

I am very sorry to hear about your Valentine's Day experience. We certainly do not expect anyone to have to wait this long for their meal. This is unacceptable. We are a family owned and operated small business and still have the same management that we have had since our opening. I invite you to come back in and have a dinner on us for your troubles. Please ask for George or Ruth Ann the owners. Again I am very sorry about your dining experience. And we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

2/14/14-My husband made reservations for Valentines Day. The time was 7:00. We arrives and our table was not ready, so we were seated at the bar, no problem. After about 15 minutes we were seated at our table. We ordered an appetizer and our drinks and about 20 minutes later our order came. We placed our entrée order @7:40. Everyone else around us after us received their food. Waitress kept telling us it would be there shortly. 8:15 no food, 8:30 no food. When we asked the waitress for the check she then stated the food would be ready in 5-7minutes!!! All bets were off!! No apologies from management, only from our waitress! We have eaten there b-4 and enjoyed it when it was under different management, but this time...the organization was really bad!! Not happy campers!! Used to be a nice place, might still be if your management skills were sharpened a bit...Happy Valentines to us.....

Mrs. Thorne,

We are so sorry about your experience! We strive to make all of our customers happy and we hate to see anyone who is not so. Your situation is very unfortunate. We were preparing for a special dinner on Saturday night and the kitchen needed to shutdown for this to happen. Unfortunately your group was not all there at the time and our Chef made a decision which at the time he felt was the correct one. There was by no means any racial references used in the Chef's decision. We invite you to come back in and have a meal on us. Again we are very sorry about your experience.

I would love to be able to give a review on the food but unfortunately we were never served or seated. I was with a party of 8 on Saturday 2/15 and was informed that the chef was closing the doors because he needed to prep for dinner. He then snapped that if my party was there by 2 then he wold serve us...it was 1:53. The restaurant was completely empty and this was a huge disappointment. The treatment was very abrupt. The attempts to make reservations earlier in the week were met with "I'm too busy you will have to call back later". Needless to say we took or business elsewhere. I would mention that the party of 5 (that were not African American females like us) who arrived after were seated without complaint.

I just had lunch here with a friend. I didn't even know your restaurant was there, but I'm so glad I do now! Lunch was wonderful and so was the service. I'll be back in with my family, I know they'll love it, too!

You helped to complete a very nice Mother's Day.
You all are the best kept secret and those who did not share the day with you missed so much.
The three of us enjoyed the West Coast Shrimp, calamari.crab cakes, tilapia Caprese chicken and Shrimp(which tasted great warmed through today) and the tiramisu was soo goood.
Please give a round of applause to the chefs and staff for a job well done.
Always
